A problem with the pump, tank, pipe or other components can cause water quality issues. Many times, a homeowner spends four to five thousand dollars on brand new water treatment equipment then gives us a call because it’s not working right. An inspection of the water system reveals that a hole developed in the pipe that the pump was suspended on and as a result, the water has become contaminated with dirt and sand. Sometimes a pressure tank ruptured causing a foul smell to the water.
